The Demikernel Datapath OS Architecture for Microsecond-scale Datacenter Systems
Hello new and old subscribers!
This week’s paper review is The Demikernel Datapath OS Architecture for Microsecond-scale Datacenter Systems. It is one in a series we will be reading from SOSP.
Demikernel is an operating systems architecture designed for an age in which IO devices and network speeds are improving faster than CPUs are, especially in the data center. The code is also open source and predominantly implemented in Rust!
As always feel free to reach out with feedback on Twitter or by responding to this email!
Until next time,
Micah
